Our mission
Internships shouldn't feel like spam.
We applied to 80+ internships in one semester and got callbacks from three. That's when we flipped it: the firm comes to you.
The problem
The search punishes the people doing it.
You scroll for an hour. You apply. You hear nothing. You do it again. The advice is always the same: cast wide, apply to everything, hope something sticks. The result is a week of your life spent on cover letters for roles you were never right for.
UTern flips the order. A student brings their LinkedIn once, and the record is labeled: checked on UTern, or claimed. A firm hands UTern one seat, and the agent finds the students who fit, scores each record blind against the firm's rubric, and hands the firm five names.
We never invent experience, and we never apply for you. Your record goes only to seats you said yes to, with no name, photo or school rank on it during review. Every score is logged. The interview is the firm's.
